Full land titles and licenses (including the “DUAT” issued in 2004). In Mozambique, the State owns ALL land; a Land Allocation and Use Title (DUAT), when applicable, or a special license, is generally granted for a period of 50 years and renewable for 50 years in the 49th year (thus becoming a 99-year lease).

The total area of the island is approximately 75 ha;

The concession area is 52 ha (excluding the 100-meter maritime zone governed by the National Maritime Institute of Mozambique (INAMAR));

Tambuzi Island is located off the coast of Mocímboa da Praia, a bustling port city in northern Mozambique, on the Indian Ocean. It serves as the capital of the Mocímboa da Praia district in Cabo Delgado province and acts as a border crossing for travel to and from Tanzania.
