The main building dates from the 19th century, but certain parts of the structure bear witness to a much earlier presence, such as the wash house, the dovecote, and the mill built in the 16th century. Official records from 1554 attest to the presence of cultivated vineyards here. Several centuries later, in 1986, the estate was purchased from the family of Marshal Leclerc de Hautecloque.
