This 19th century castle is located in the green and wooded countryside of the south of the Manche, 40 km from Mont-Saint-Michel.
This region was the site of bitter fighting at the beginning of August 1944. An American cemetery is 25 km away. The property benefits from all the shops and services of the small town located just 5 km away. The nearest motorway entrance is around twenty km away, and the train station, approximately 30 km away, allows you to reach Paris in 3 hours.

The castle is built of local stone and plastered.
Its 19th century architecture is well balanced, the pediments of the two main facades remind us of the classic constructions of the 18th century. Large openings generously light the interiors. The interior distribution on 3 levels is very symmetrical. A warm and welcoming “family home” atmosphere emanates from all these rooms. On the ground floor: the large vestibule leads to a nicely decorated living room on the right, adorned with a marble fireplace.
Two double doors open into the dining room, also with herringbone parquet flooring and a marble fireplace. To the left is another living room with more classic decoration, with a marble fireplace and parquet flooring.
At the back of the house, the kitchen and the hall with the well-balanced wooden staircase which leads upstairs.

On the first floor, a large landing, lit by natural light from the stairwell windows, leads to 4 beautiful bedrooms, each with a shower room, and a child's bedroom. Fireplaces decorate these rooms.

The second floor offers a distribution symmetrical to that of the first floor.
These rooms have served as attics in recent years, and deserve to be renovated. This would allow up to 4 additional bedrooms. A small staircase leads to the attic.

The outbuildings are:
A caretaker's house to restore.
An orangery.
A large stone building which houses the six box stables and garages.
Part of its roof was redone in 2000. An earthen outbuilding.

The castle is located in the middle of a park of approximately 5ha5. It is partly composed of lawn and meadows, a vegetable garden, the whole being planted with very beautiful monumental trees which give this place all its beauty.
